We are based at Unit No 41 in the Bharat Coal Industrial Estate. It is on Kale Marg in the Bail Bazar area of Kurla West. Kurla is always crowded and the estate is no different. There are a lot of small units here all doing different kinds of engineering and manufacturing. Our space is filled with machines and workbenches. We mostly work on technical parts and engineering projects that require a lot of focus. The building is older and the hallways can be a bit dark, but our unit is well-lit so we can see what we are doing with the small components. Mod E-Tech has been part of this industrial estate for quite some time now. You can hear the trains and the traffic from outside all day long. It is just a normal part of working in Kurla. We don't have a big fancy lobby for guests. Usually, if someone comes to see us, they just walk straight into the workshop. We spend a lot of time checking specs and making sure things are cut to the right size. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the whole estate gets a bit quieter then. It is a good place to work if you don't mind the noise and the busy atmosphere of Mumbai. We just try to do our engineering work without making a big fuss about it. We finish and go home.
