Mocambo Caf

Mocambo Caf is right here at 23A Sir P.M. Road in Fort. We’ve been around this part of Mumbai for a long time now. It gets pretty busy around here with all the offices and people walking by to the station every day. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. People just come in because they’re hungry or want to sit down for a bit of a break. The building is quite old, like most things in the Fort area. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the street noise outside never really stops, but that’s just life in the city. We try to keep the tables clean and get the food out reasonably fast. It's not a place where you'll find posh decorations or anything too modern. It’s mostly just wood and some old paint on the walls. Our regulars usually know exactly where to sit. We see the same faces every afternoon. Some office workers come in for a quick bite before heading back to their desks for the rest of the day. We are just a local spot for people in the neighborhood. If you are walking down Sir P.M. Road, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, but it works for us. We just keep doing what we do every day. The staff has been here for years. They know the menu by heart. It's just a cafe.
