M.M. Poojjia Ji Spices Ltd.

Our office is tucked away at 42, Anandilal Podar Marg in the New Marine Lines area. It’s an old part of Mumbai, and the building reflects that history. M.M. Poojjia Ji Spices Ltd. has been operating from this address for years. The smell of different spices usually lingers in the air around our entrance, which is something we’ve all grown to love. It’s a crowded street with a lot of pedestrians and small shops. Getting into the building can be a bit of a squeeze when it’s raining or during the peak hours. Inside, it’s a mix of old wooden furniture and stacks of files that seem to grow every month. We aren't a high-tech corporate office. It's more of a place where we talk to customers on the phone and manage the spice shipments. The rooms are a bit small and the lighting isn't always the best, but it has a comfortable feel to it. We know the local tea seller and the other shop owners on the Marg. It feels like a small community even though we are in such a big city. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or have a slick presentation. We just know our spices and handle the business the way it’s always been done. It's a bit dusty and loud outside, but this is where we belong and how we work every single day.
