Mitank Tour Travels

Our office is on the ground floor over in the 29 Malabar Hill Area. It’s a nice part of town, maybe a bit quieter than the rest of the city, which we definitely appreciate when the phones start ringing constantly. Mitank Tour Travels has been working out of this space for some time now. We spend most of our day looking at maps and checking flight schedules on the old computers we have on our desks. It’s a lot of sitting around and waiting for confirmations from the airlines, to be honest. People come in wanting to go on holiday or maybe they have to travel for work and they don’t want to deal with the online booking mess themselves. We sit down with them, have some tea, and try to find a route that makes sense for their budget. It isn't a big corporate office with glass walls and uniforms; it’s just a ground floor room with some posters of mountains and beaches on the walls that are probably a bit faded by now. We know the Malabar Hill streets well, and many of our regulars are just neighbors who live in the buildings around us. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't promise the world, we just try to get your tickets sorted so you don't have to worry about the details. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from the morning until the sun goes down.
