Minakshi Paints & Electricals

We run the shop at Sai Sadan Building, specifically Shop 8. It’s located in Goregaon East, Stage II, over in D Block. People usually find us by looking for Top Most Furniture, which is right across from us in Rajajinagar. The shop is filled with cans of paint and all sorts of electrical wires and switches. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on the shelves. You have to watch your step sometimes with the boxes on the floor. We spend most of the day helping people pick out colors or finding the right fuse for their house. It’s mostly locals who come in, people living in the nearby buildings who need to fix something. We’ve got the fans going all day to keep it cool. Sometimes it’s just us sitting behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk in. We know where every little screw and bulb is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It’s a straightforward business. We open up early and stay open until most people are home from work. This area is a decent place to be, and there’s always someone needing a bit of paint or a new light fixture. We don't do anything complicated, just provide the supplies people ask for. It’s a steady job and we like seeing the same neighbors coming back when their bulbs burn out.
