Milan Florists is based in the 11 Kunti Park Building, which is situated near the Ashok Nagar Bus Stop on Sahnewal Link Road in Ramgarh, Andheri East. Being near a bus stop means there are always people around, even late in the evening. Our shop is a small, local spot that has become part of the daily commute for some folks. We don't have any big corporate backing; it's just a local operation run by a few of us. We spend most of our time at the shop, trimming flowers and keeping everything hydrated in the buckets. The Sahnewal Link Road can get pretty congested, so we see a lot of traffic passing by our front door every day. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, though we’re usually busy with something or other. We don't have a perfectly decorated shop. Often, there are crates stacked in the corner and tools lying on the counter. It’s a real workspace where things actually get done. We get to know the regulars who live in Kunti Park or take the bus from Ashok Nagar. It’s a nice feeling when someone remembers your name and stops for a chat. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most of our customers just come in because they were passing by or heard about us from a neighbor. We just try to be consistent and have the shop open when we say we will. It’s a simple life.
