Micron Industries

Micron Industries is located over in J B Nagar, right on the Andheri Kurla Road. We are in the Udyog Mandir building, which is quite easy to spot if you are looking for St Judges Church because we are directly opposite it. Being on such a major road means there is never a quiet moment. The buses and cars are always rushing past. Our unit is part of a larger industrial complex where many different things are made. Inside, it’s mostly about the machinery and the stuff we produce. It’s a practical space, not meant for show. We have our benches set up and the lights are always on. The church across the street is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Sometimes we take a break and just watch the chaos of the Andheri Kurla Road from the entrance. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and being in J B Nagar puts us right in the middle of it. We keep our schedules simple and focus on the production side of things. The Udyog Mandir has that old industrial feel, with concrete stairs and narrow hallways that are always filled with the smell of manufacturing. It’s where we spend our ten or twelve hours a day. There is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and getting things ready for transport. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done at our spot in Andheri.
