Micro Engineering Works

If you're looking for us, we're at Opera House on Paud Road, specifically at A 33. Micro Engineering Works is a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. We do a lot of metalwork and custom engineering jobs for local businesses and individuals who need something specific made or repaired. The shop is full of the smell of oil and the sound of cutting tools. We don't have a fancy showroom because our work speaks for itself when people see the finished pieces. Paud Road is a great location for us since it’s easy for trucks to get in and out when they’re dropping off raw materials. We’ve got a couple of lathes and some welding equipment that stay busy most of the time. It’s a small shop, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of floor space pretty fast. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who heard about us from someone else. We just try to be fair and get the work done when we said we would. Sometimes we stay late to finish a tricky weld or to figure out a design problem. It’s just how we operate. It's a simple life of making things and fixing things, and that suits us just fine. We just take it day by day.
