Ghatkopar East is a very crowded part of Mumbai especially near the fish market. Our office is in the B Wing of Jai Ambedham CHS which is an SRA building. We are located on the 11th floor in room 1105. Being right behind the fish market means you can always smell the catch of the day but you get used to it after a while. The Hanuman Mandir is also very close by so we hear the bells in the morning. We work on various development projects around the city. It involves a lot of talking to people and filling out forms. Since we are in an SRA building ourselves we have a good understanding of how these housing projects work. Our office is not a quiet place because you can hear the kids playing in the corridors and the noise from the market below. We are just a small team trying to build things in a city where space is very hard to find. Our desks are usually covered in site photos and half-empty tea cups. We do not use corporate language or try to act like we are a huge firm. We are just local developers. Most of the time we are out on the construction sites but someone is usually in the office to answer the phone. The lift in our wing can be slow during peak hours so we have to plan our day carefully.
