We’ve been at C-105 in the Ansa Industrial Estate for a good while now. If you know Saki Naka, you know the Saki Vihar Road can get pretty backed up, especially around shift changes when everyone is trying to get in or out at once. We are just one of many units here in this block, but we focus on our pneumatic work and try to keep things moving as best as we can. Most mornings start with checking the machines and making sure the shop floor is ready for whatever the day brings. It’s not a fancy office at all, just a practical, dusty space where we get the job done. Sometimes the heat in the estate is a bit much, but we have our routines and just get on with it. We’ve seen the area change over the years, more buildings going up and more traffic, but our spot in Ansa stays pretty much the same. People come and go through the gate all day long. Our staff mostly live nearby or take the metro and trains into Saki Naka. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the other workshops, but that is just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. We just focus on the parts and the orders that need to go out. Lunch usually happens at the desks. It’s a straightforward life here at Mercury Pneumatics.
