You can find our small workspace over at Addis Street in the Masjid Bunder West area. It is officially called Typing Stall No 9, and we are located right across from the Mandvi Post Office. It is a pretty tight space, but it has been where we do all our work for a very long time now. Being so close to the Mohammed Ali Masjid means there is always a crowd and plenty of noise outside. We do not really mind it much because it feels like the heart of the whole area. We spend most of the day sitting behind our machines. People come to us when they have papers that need to be sorted out or typed up properly. It is basic work, but people really need it done right and they trust us with it. The stall itself is not much to look at, just a counter and our equipment set up. Sometimes the heat gets to be a bit much in the middle of the afternoon, but we just keep at it until the job is done. We see a lot of different people every single day. Some of them are regulars who have been coming here for years and some are just people passing through the market. We do not have a website or any of that stuff. If you need us, you just walk up to the stall and talk to us. That is how business has been done here for as long as I can remember. We keep our pens and paper ready. It is honest work and we like being part of the street life here.
