Meiji India Pvt. Ltd. is situated at A-8, Bishwakian in Andheri East. Anyone who works in Mumbai knows that Andheri East is one of those places that never really sleeps. There is always a lot of coming and going, especially with the airport being so close. Our office here at Bishwakian is where we manage our Indian operations. It’s a decent-sized space, but it’s often filled with boxes and samples and people running around to meet deadlines. We do a variety of things here, mostly focusing on the products that Meiji is known for globally, but tailored for the local market. It’s a lot of work to keep everything aligned, and the days can get pretty long. The commute in this part of Mumbai is no joke, so we all have our stories about getting stuck in traffic on the way to the office. We aren't really into corporate talk or making things sound better than they are. We have a job to do, and we do it from this building in Andheri. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles in the heat, or the internet goes out for a bit, but we just keep working through it. It’s a professional but down-to-earth environment where we focus on getting our products to the shops and customers. Being at A-8 Bishwakian puts us right in the heart of the action, which is exactly where we need to be.
