It is a very typical Mumbai lane, a bit narrow and always something going on outside. The building has that old charm but the stairs can be a bit of a workout if you are not used to them. We work in media and advertising things. Our office is full of old magazines and layouts. It is not a showroom. It is a place where we sit and talk to clients and plan out campaigns. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the neighbors sometimes. We like it here because it feels like the real Mumbai. There is a chai wala nearby who makes great tea, which helps during those long afternoons. We do not have a big fancy sign out front. You just have to know which door to knock on. We have been around for a long time. People here are used to the fast pace of the city. We do not use much corporate talk, just plain speaking. Most of us have been working together for years. It is a bit messy at times with all the paper but we know where everything is. Just a regular media house in a busy corner of the city, getting on with things.
