Mech-Tex Manufacturing Company is situated in A-1 Minerva Indl Estate on L.B.S. Marg. Being in Mulund West means we are right in the thick of the industrial buzz. The estate is always full of trucks loading and unloading stuff, so there is a constant sound of engines and people shouting directions. Our unit, A-1, is right near one of the main entries, which makes it easy to find but also means we get a lot of the dust from the road. Inside, it is exactly what you would expect from a manufacturing spot. There are heavy worktables, some old cabinets for files, and the smell of metal and oil is always in the air. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and a few safety posters that have been there for years. The windows are high up and a bit grimy, letting in just enough light to see what we are doing without needing the big overhead lamps all the time. Lunch is usually eaten quickly at the desks or out on the landing. L.B.S. Marg is always packed with traffic, so we hear the constant rumble of the city moving past the estate walls.
