Maverick Realty & Developers is over in Worli, which most people know is a pretty central part of Mumbai. We are actually inside the Discovery of India Building, which is part of the Nehru Centre on Dr. A.B. Road. Our office is on the 4th floor. It’s a well-known building, but inside our doors, it’s just a normal workplace with desks, chairs, and a lot of coffee cups. We work on realty and development, which means we are always looking at land, buildings, and how people want to live or work in the city. Mumbai is a tough place to build anything because of the space and the rules, so we spend a lot of time just figuring out the best way to move forward. We aren't the type of company that puts out glossy brochures every week. We’d rather just talk to people plainly about what can and cannot be done. The office can get pretty quiet when everyone is out on the field, but when we are all here, it’s a lot of discussion and planning. We have been in this spot for a while and we like the location. It’s easy to get to different parts of the city from Worli. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a list of corporate values on the wall. We just try to do our work without making it more complicated than it needs to be. It keeps things manageable.
