About Marie Stoped Society (Ngo) – Tourism in Mumbai
Our office is out in Syed Mohalla, which is part of Bhan Syedabad. It’s a small place in the Sehwan Taluka within the Dadu district of Sindh. Working for the Marie Stoped Society out here means we see a lot of local folks every day. The post office is nearby, and everyone in the area knows where we are. It’s not like a big city office with glass walls. We have a simple setup because that’s what works here. Most of the time, we are just busy talking to people from the village or sorting out supplies. The heat in Dadu can get pretty intense during the summer months, so we start our days early. We try to keep things organized, but in a small town, things usually happen at their own pace. People just walk in when they need something or have a question about what the NGO is doing. It’s a quiet life in Bhan Syedabad for the most part. We’ve been at this address for a good bit of time now. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the community well. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to help out where it's needed in the neighborhood. It’s basic, honest work. We don't put on any acts. Just local people working for the society right here in our own district. It feels like home to most of us by now, despite the dusty roads.
