Marbella

Our place, Marbella, is located at 2099 Shantiniketan. It’s a quiet enough spot and we’ve made it our own over time. We didn’t want a shop that felt like a cold showroom, so we keep things a bit more relaxed here. When you walk in, it feels more like a house than a business. We spend our time looking at different materials and trying to figure out what looks good together. It’s a lot of trial and error, honestly. We don’t have a big staff of experts. It’s just us and our ideas. People come to Shantiniketan because it’s got a certain feel to it, and we try to match that. We don’t use any complicated sales pitches or try to pressure anyone into buying something they don’t need. We just show people what we have and let them decide for themselves. Sometimes we spend hours just chatting with a customer about their home and what they’re looking for. It’s a slow way of doing things, but we prefer it that way. We aren’t trying to become a huge chain or anything. We just want to keep doing what we enjoy in a place we like. It’s a simple setup and we are happy with it. Most of our days are just filled with small tasks and steady work. That’s how Marbella stays running.
