Mangal Grahak Bhandar

Our shop is over in Andheri East, right near the Western Express Highway at Shop No 10 in Mahada C, Chandiwali. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always noise from the traffic outside. We’ve been here for years serving the families who live in the Mahada buildings. It’s a small place, so we have to stack the boxes pretty high to fit everything in. We sell all the basic stuff like rice, sugar, soap, and snacks. It’s not a fancy supermarket where everything is under bright lights. It’s just a regular neighborhood store. We know most of the people who come in. They stop by on their way back from work or send their kids down to grab something we forgot. The counter is a bit worn out, and the fan on the ceiling wobbles a little, but it gets the job done. We don't have a website or do any fancy advertising. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars. Sometimes we run out of milk early, and people have to wait for the next delivery. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone in the area. It’s a lot of work lifting heavy bags and keeping the shelves tidy, but it keeps us busy. We like being a part of the daily life here in Chandiwali. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’ve made a lot of friends over the years.
