Mandeep Engineering Co is sitting over on L.B.S Road in Durganagar. If you are in Chinchwad East, we are at A-54. It’s an industrial patch, so there’s always the sound of grinding or hammers somewhere in the background. We have been here for a good while now. Our floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We do general engineering work, mostly whatever the local shops or guys need. It’s not a quiet place. We have some heavy lathes and drills that have seen a lot of use over the years. We keep them running as best as we can. My hands are usually stained with grease by ten in the morning. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It is just a couple of us doing the actual labor. The roof gets really hot in the afternoons during the summer months, so we tend to start early when we can. Sometimes a client will come in with a sketch on a piece of cardboard and we try to figure it out for them. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just trying to do a solid job so we can head home at the end of the day. The tea shop around the corner is where we spend our lunch breaks.
