Mamajis Snacks & Ice Cream Parlour

Our little place is in the Bhiwandiwala Building over in Worli West. We’ve been serving snacks and ice cream here for a good number of years. It’s not a big restaurant, just a simple parlour where people can grab a quick bite. We have a few tables and chairs, but they are often full during the afternoon heat when everyone wants something cold. The smell of fried snacks is usually in the air. We keep the freezers humming all day long. It’s a local spot, so we see the same faces almost every day. Kids coming home from school or office workers taking a break in the shade. We don't have a big menu with fancy names. We just serve the things people like to eat. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the kitchen and the counter. It gets a bit crowded and noisy, especially on the weekends when families come out. Sometimes we run out of certain flavors of ice cream before the new delivery arrives, but that’s just how it goes in a small shop. We don't have a manager in a suit; we are just behind the counter ourselves. It’s a busy life, but we like seeing people enjoy their food. Worli is a lively place to be, and our building is right in the middle of it all. We just keep things simple and honest for everyone.
