Malvani Chaska

Ghatkopar East is where you’ll find us, specifically on the ground floor near the Express Highway. Malvani Chaska is located right below the bus depot. Because of that, there’s always the sound of buses pulling in and out. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai 400075. We spend a lot of time dealing with the soot and the noise from the highway nearby, but it’s a convenient spot for people. We aren't tucked away in some quiet alley; we are right there where the action is. Most days are a blur of people rushing to catch a bus or getting off work. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. The space is simple, nothing fancy. We just have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the heat from the pavement outside is intense, so we stay busy inside. We know the bus drivers and some of the regulars who pass by every single day. It’s a very practical location. We don’t put on any acts. We are just a local business near the depot. The floor gets dusty fast with all the traffic, so we are always sweeping. It’s just the two of us mostly, managing the flow. We don’t have a mission statement or anything. We just open up, serve whoever comes in, and close when it’s late. It’s just how things go here in Ghatkopar.
