Our office is located at Room No. 01 on R.M. Road in Gulshan Nagar. We are right opposite the Qartaba Masjid in Mumbai. Being in Mumbai, it is always a bit crowded and loud outside, but that is just the way it is here. The office itself is small, just a single room, but it serves its purpose for Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Ltd. throughout the day. You can hear the call to prayer from the mosque across the street, which is a regular part of our daily routine now. The street outside is usually full of people walking to the market or heading home. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a bunch of receptionists. It is just a practical space where we sit and get our work done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it and keep going. R.M. Road is a busy place, and there is always something to see out the door. We have our files stacked up and our tea mugs on the tables. It is a bit cramped when more than a few people are inside at once, but it works for us. We have been in this spot for some time, and we know most of the local shopkeepers nearby. It feels like a real part of the community rather than some cold corporate office in a glass tower somewhere else.
