Mahavir Ghee Centre

We are located in Malad East, right at Shop No 1 in the Sunanda Building. It’s a straightforward little place. At Mahavir Ghee Centre, we mostly deal with ghee and sometimes other dairy-related things that come in. The shop is small and easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We have been here for a long time. The smell of clarified butter is something you get used to after five minutes of standing inside. We don't have fancy displays or bright neon lights. It’s just shelves and tins. Usually, it’s just me or one of my family members behind the counter. We spend our time weighing things out and talking to the people from the building and the surrounding streets. Life in Malad is busy, but inside the shop, things move a bit slower. We wait for the deliveries to arrive and then we get everything put away. Sometimes the tins get a bit dented during transport, but the stuff inside is what matters. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big corporate look. This is just a local business where we know our regulars. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy for their own houses now. It’s a quiet kind of work, but it’s what we know. If you're walking past Sunanda Building, you'll see us there, just doing what we've always done. No big corporate meetings, just us and the customers.
