Mahasagar Travels

Mahasagar Travels has been operating out of Andheri East for some time now. You can find us at number 17 in the Jjac Market area, specifically within the Vajir Gallas Compound. It is quite close to Natraj Studio, which most people around here know well. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we manage the buses and help people figure out their trips. It gets busy in the mornings when the first set of passengers arrives. There is always a lot of noise from the market and the nearby studio, but we are used to it by now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to drivers who are coming in from long shifts. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the seats are filled and the timing is right. Sometimes things go wrong, like a bus gets delayed in traffic or a part needs replacing, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops coming and going all the time. The compound itself feels a bit old, but it has a lot of character and history for us. We stay busy with the local crowd and people who work in the nearby offices. It is just honest work, making sure people get from one place to another without too much trouble. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the evening departures to get settled. It’s a simple life here in Andheri, just keeping things moving as best as we can every day.
