Maharashtra Engineering Company has its home at B-2, Ashirwad, right on Ahmadabad Street Cross in the Bunder area. It’s an old part of town, and the streets can be a bit narrow, but that’s just how it is around here. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long while. The workshop floor is usually covered in some sort of metal shavings or oil, which is typical for an engineering place. We deal with various mechanical parts and repairs. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of machines humming or someone hammering something into place. Our neighbors in Bunder are mostly other businesses, so nobody minds the noise much. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. The Ashirwad building is easy enough to spot once you get onto the street. We aren’t big on fancy decorations or expensive office chairs. Most of our budget goes into keeping the equipment running and making sure we have the right tools for whatever job comes through the door. The team knows their way around a lathe and a welding torch. We take the work as it comes, sometimes it’s a big project and other times it’s just someone needing a small part fixed. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it long enough that we don’t need to explain much to the regulars who drop by.
