Mahakali Flower Shop

Mahakali Flower Shop is tucked away at 9th Cross in Cubbonpet, Ghatkopar. It is a busy little spot, and there is always something happening right outside our front door. The space we have is quite small, so we have to make the most of every inch. We stack our buckets high and keep our supplies on hooks along the walls to save room. It isn't the kind of place you would see in a fancy magazine, but it works for us. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and making sure the water in our containers is fresh and clean. It is a lot of repetitive work, like cutting stems at an angle and picking off any dead leaves we find. There are only a couple of us working here, and we’ve been doing this for years now. Ghatkopar is a neighborhood where people actually know each other, so we get a lot of locals stopping by just to say hello or to see what we have in stock. Sometimes the delivery bikes block the narrow road, and we have to move them quickly so the traffic can pass. It gets a bit stressful when we are busy, but we try to stay calm and just handle one thing at a time. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just running a small shop and trying to keep our flowers looking good.
