Mads Entertainment is up on the third floor of the Jagdamba Complex. We’re at 308, right on New Link Road in Malad West. Most people know the spot because it’s right above Movie Time. It’s a pretty busy area, so there’s always something going on outside. Our office isn't anything fancy; it’s just a place where we keep the equipment and handle the bookings. We do a lot of entertainment stuff, which means there’s often a lot of noise and gear being moved around. The elevator in the complex can be a bit slow sometimes, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. We’ve been here for a while now. Mumbai is a tough place to run a business, but we manage. We aren't a big corporate agency. It’s just a group of us who enjoy putting things together. Some days are just filled with paperwork and fixing broken cables. It’s not always smooth sailing. We’ve had our fair share of mishaps, like a speaker failing or a light blowing out right before a show starts. We just deal with it and move on. People come to us because we’re local and we know the venues in Malad. We don’t have a glossy brochure. We just show you photos of what we’ve done before on a tablet or a phone. It’s simple and it works for us and the people who hire us to help them out.
