Maa Travels

We've been over here on JW Road in Malad East for a good while now. It's just a small office where we handle tickets and trips for people who need to get around. Most who come in are from the neighborhood. It gets really busy during the summers when everyone wants to go back to their village or take a break somewhere cooler. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at those old computer screens to find bus seats or flight timings that actually work for a family budget. It is definitely not a fancy place. There is just a wooden desk and a few plastic chairs for when people have to wait their turn. Sometimes the internet goes slow or the power cuts out for a bit, and we just have to tell people to come back in an hour. We know the regular customers by their first names since they live just down the street or run the shops nearby. It’s mostly just us making sure the paperwork for the visas or the bookings is sorted out properly so there aren't any headaches later on at the airport. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the train and bus routes pretty well. Malad East is a crowded spot, so people usually just walk in while they're doing their other errands. We try to keep things simple and just get the job done without any extra talk. If a flight gets canceled, we stay late to fix it. That's just how we do things here.
