Ma Masala & Dry Frt is tucked away in House No. 717 of the Sandmire Building in Bhandup West. If you know where Sangam Cold Drinks is, then you’re almost at our doorstep. It’s a bit of a crowded area, but that’s the charm of Bhandup. We operate out of a relatively small space, so we have to be smart about how we stack our bags of nuts and spices. It’s a family-run thing, and you’ll usually find one of us behind the counter or back in the storage room. We don’t have a big corporate structure or any of that. It’s just us making sure the dry fruits are fresh and the masalas are ground just right. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside and the machines inside, but we don't mind it much. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors are like friends. People drop in for a chat as much as they do for their shopping. We don’t do any fancy advertising or use polished language. We just tell people what we have and let them decide. It’s a practical way to run a business. Some days are slow and some are frantic, but we take it as it comes. We’re just glad to be working in this neighborhood and serving the people around the Sandmire Building every day of the week.
