The workshop is located at 47/379 in Goregaon East, right inside Dnyanyash Park. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the machines before you see the door. We do a lot of work with springs and small engineering parts. It is a hands-on kind of place. There is always oil on the floor and metal shavings near the cutters. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Usually, one of us is at the back working on a lathe or checking the tension on a batch of springs. We take orders from different factories and sometimes individuals who need a specific part fixed. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the job. My hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. We started this because we know how to make things work. It is satisfying to see a pile of raw material turn into something useful by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the parts we send out are right. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day fixing it ourselves instead of working on orders. That is life in a small engineering shop. We stay late when we have to and go home tired.
