M & N Chocolates

We are located at number 2 on Karve Road, right near Church Gate. It’s a small space, almost like a hole in the wall if you aren't looking for it. M & N Chocolates has been here for a while now, and we mostly just focus on making small batches of chocolates whenever we have the time and the ingredients ready. The shop is quite narrow, so if more than three people come in at once, it feels very full. We have some old glass jars on the shelves where we keep the finished pieces. The cooling unit we use is a bit loud and makes a humming sound all day, but it keeps everything from melting in this Mumbai heat. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who show up every morning to wrap things in foil. It's a bit tedious, but we sit by the window and watch the cars go by on Karve Road while we work. The bells from the nearby station can be heard every time a train comes in. Sometimes the chocolate doesn't set perfectly if the weather is too humid, so we just have to wait it out. We aren't trying to be like those big brands you see in the malls. We just make what we know and hope people enjoy a small piece now and then. It’s a quiet life for the most part at our Church Gate spot.
