Lucky Stores

You can find Lucky Stores at Shop Number 4 in Hussaini Chawl. We are right in Santacruz West, directly across from the vegetable market on Prenatirth Road. It’s a very local spot. If you’re coming from the Satellite area, you’ll see us easily because of all the people buying their groceries nearby. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of shelf space we have. Since the market is right there, it’s always loud and full of life from early morning until late at night. We sell all sorts of daily items that people need. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers running the place. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they’re passing by. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the pavement just to make room for new stock coming in. The floor is concrete and the lights are those old tube ones that flicker a bit. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We know most of the customers by name because they live in the buildings around here. We talk about the weather or the price of onions while we bag their things. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a regular corner store where you can get what you need without any fuss. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when it gets busy. Sometimes we misplace the stapler or forget to restock the small snacks.
