Lucky Impex

Lucky Impex is located in the Habib Building, room 65/73, over on Charni Road. It’s an old building with a lot of history. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow. We’ve been here for quite some time now. We handle import and export stuff, so there are always papers and boxes everywhere. It’s a typical Mumbai office—compact and busy. Charni Road is always humming with energy. You can hear the trains and the cars from our windows. We don’t have a polished showroom. Our space is filled with files and samples of the things we trade. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking shipments. It can be stressful when things get delayed, but we just deal with it. We aren't a big, shiny firm. We’re just a small team trying to keep everything moving. We know the other people in the building well. We share news and tea. It’s a community. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the internet gets slow, but we just keep going. We don’t have a fancy mission statement. We just want to get the goods from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s a practical business. We’ve learned a lot over the years about how things work in this city. We just take it one shipment at a time and try to stay organized. It's a lot of work, but we're used to it.
