You can find Lok Vastu Developers over in Punjabi Colony, near the Koliwada Church. We are on the 11th floor of the D46 building in the CGS Colony area of Antop Hill. It’s a bit of a climb if the power is out, but the view of the city from up here is alright. We have been doing development work in this corner of Mumbai for quite a while. Most of the time, we’re busy trying to coordinate between different sites and making sure we have enough sand and cement. Dealing with Shaik Misree Road traffic is a daily struggle for us. We started this company because we saw how much the area was changing and wanted to be part of that. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy presentations. We just talk to people and figure out what needs to be built. It’s a lot of coordination with the guys on the ground. Sometimes things go smooth, other days we’re dealing with broken equipment or missing workers. That’s just the reality of construction in a place like this. We stay busy with various projects, mostly residential stuff for families around here. It’s a decent living and we like seeing the buildings finally take shape after months of digging and pouring concrete. We’re usually in the office by nine, unless we’re stuck at a site. Our team is small but we’ve worked together for years and we know how to handle the local challenges.
