Leena Heena Travels

Leena Heena Travels is tucked into Shop No 1 at Sughandha Palace in S Dadar East. We are right across from the Bengali Education Society which is a busy school so there are always kids and parents around during the morning and afternoon. Dadar is the heart of the city for many of us and being on the East side makes it easy for people to drop by after they get off the train. Our shop is small but it is packed with schedules, maps, and booking logs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street looking for help. Whether it is a bus ticket or a longer trip, we just handle the details as they come to us. It can get a bit chaotic when several people want things at once but we are used to that pace. The fan keeps spinning on the ceiling and we keep typing away at the desk. We have been in Sughandha Palace for quite a while now and it feels like home. It is a familiar spot for the locals who live nearby. We do not use big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just know our shop because they pass it on their way to the station or the market. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait for their paperwork to be finished. It is functional and simple.
