Leather World

Leather World is located at Shop No 76 in Bahar Manzil, on Mutton Street. We are quite close to J J Hospital. This neighborhood has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk down the lanes. Our shop is tucked away in the building. It’s not very big, so we have to use every inch of space we have. We have leather samples hanging from the walls and tools scattered across the tables. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly, but it’s a productive mess. We’ve spent many years here, watching the street change while we stay pretty much the same. We don’t use any modern machinery. It’s mostly hand-stitching and manual cutting. It makes the work feel more real to us. The light in the shop isn't great, but we’ve got used to where everything is. Sometimes customers bring in old things for us to look at or repair. We enjoy those conversations. It’s nice to hear the stories behind the items. We don't spend money on fancy displays. If you want to see what we have, you just have to look through the piles. We close up when the street starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s been our way of life for a long time now and we're content with it.
