Leather Shop

Our shop is right on N. S. Phadke Marg, very close to the Andheri Flyover in Andheri East. It is a very loud and busy part of town. There is always the sound of horns and engines from the traffic outside. We’ve been at this spot for quite a long time. The shop itself is quite packed with items. We don't have much room for people to walk around, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over. We don't believe in fancy decorations or expensive lighting. We just have basic shelves and some racks we built ourselves. The sun can get quite hot in the afternoons, hitting the front of the shop. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just us doing the daily work. People stop in while they are on their way to the station or the flyover. We don't do any big advertising campaigns. Most of our customers are locals who have seen us here for years. The monsoon can be a bit of a problem because the rain sometimes splashes inside, but we manage. We spend our time checking the stitching and making sure everything is okay. We don't have any polished speeches or mission statements. We just show you what we have and tell you the price. It’s a very simple way of running a business. We are here every day except for holidays. It is a lot of work but we enjoy it.
