You can find us at Shop Number 4 on Dr A N Road, right in the Mumbai Central area. We are directly opposite the Reserve Bank, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find the place. Being in Kapad Ganj means there is always a lot of movement. People are always rushing to the station or coming back from long trips. Our shop is small and filled with maps and old calendars. We spend most of our time looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for people. It is not like those big travel websites where everything is a click away. Here, we actually talk to you. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is just us and the whirring of the ceiling fan. We have been in this spot for years, watching the traffic change outside. The tea guy brings us a round in the morning and that is usually when we plan out the day. It gets dusty because of the main road, so we are always wiping down the glass counters. People stop by to ask about bus timings or train tickets even if they aren't buying anything. We don't mind. It is part of being in a neighborhood like this. We just keep the records straight and help folks get where they need to go.
