Laxmi Masala

Laxmi Masala is located up on the first floor at Shop No 18. The building is Plot No.105 on Keshavji Naik Road. If you are looking for us, we are right above Swadeshi Masala in the Chinch Bandar area. It can be a bit crowded around here sometimes because of all the markets and shops nearby. We spend our days handling the spices and getting orders sorted for the local folks. Being on the first floor means it is a bit quieter than the street level, but we still hear everything going on outside. The stairs can be a bit narrow, so we just take our time moving things up and down. You really have to watch your step on those stairs because they're a bit uneven in places. Chinch Bandar is one of those places where you can smell the salt and the spices from a mile away. We have these big old windows that look out over Keshavji Naik Road, and I spend more time than I should just watching the carts go by. The shop stays a bit cramped with all the bags, so you have to turn sideways to get through the aisles. It's not a showroom, it's a workspace. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy up here on the first floor. My cousin handles the weighing while I do the bagging. We've got an old scale that still works better than the digital ones. We stay busy enough to keep the doors open every day.
