Our office for Laqshya Outdor Media is tucked away in the Vora Building, which is number 5/59 on Sindhi Lane. If you know where the Alankar Theater is in Mumbai, you basically know where we are because it’s right near there. It’s a bit of an older part of the city, and the streets can get pretty crowded with people and vendors, but we like the character of the place. We do outdoor media stuff, which basically means we spend a lot of time thinking about where signs and advertisements go. It isn't a glamorous job most of the time. There is a lot of measuring, checking sites, and dealing with the local humidity. Our team is pretty grounded. We don't use those fancy buzzwords you hear in the big advertising agencies downtown. We just focus on the practical side of things. Inside our office, it’s mostly just stacks of papers and maps of the city. We’ve been in this building for some time, and the tea stall nearby is where we usually end up during our breaks. Sometimes we lose track of time when a big project is due, but we always manage to get through it. We aren't interested in sounding like a corporate machine.
