If you are ever out in Dahisar West, you might pass by Rustomjee Regal. That is where we are located, specifically in C/32. Jaywant Sawant Marg is a busy stretch of road, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get somewhere. We have been operating Laqshya Digital Media from this office for a bit. It’s a decent space for what we need. We aren’t big on showing off or having a lot of shiny stuff around. It is more about getting the daily tasks finished. The office has a certain feel to it, a bit lived-in, but that’s because we actually work here. Mumbai 400 068 is our corner of the world. Some days are quieter than others. We drink a lot of chai and talk about what needs to happen next on the schedule. It is not always perfect, things break or the internet slows down, but we manage. Being in Dahisar is a bit different from being in the center of the city, but we like the pace. It feels a bit more like a community. We know the people at the gate and the folks who run the small shops nearby. It is just a regular group of people doing digital work in a regular building. We don’t think too much about being corporate. We just show up and do the job. It works for us.
