Raheja Leather Exports

You can find us in Room No. 4 on the second floor of Lalwani House. It is right on Mirja Street, which is always busy. There are people selling all sorts of things on the sidewalk downstairs. Raheja Leather Exports is just a small space, really. We have three rooms, numbers 31 to 33, but we mostly hang out in the main office area. It is a bit cramped because we have so many samples and leather pieces tucked into every corner. The building is old and the elevator is a bit temperamental, so we usually just take the stairs. It is good exercise anyway. We spend a lot of time talking to clients on the phone and checking on production at the factories. The wooden desks are scratched up and the chairs squeak, but they do the job. We don't have any big missions or goals other than getting our work done right. Sometimes we have tea brought up from the shop downstairs. It’s a very local way of doing business. We know the postman and the other tenants in the building quite well. It feels like a little community in here. We don't bother with fancy brochures. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come up and look at the stuff on the tables. It is straightforward and honest work. We have been in this room for years and it suits us fine.
