Lakhan Travels

Lakhan Travels is a small shop, number 8, located in Mata Ramdevi Niwas. We are over in Mulund West, in the Makali Darampura area, near the Hobli. If you find Mulund Hardware, we are right behind it. It is a small space, mostly just enough for a desk and a couple of chairs for visitors. We have been around for a long time, mostly helping the locals with car rentals and booking tickets for long-distance travel. The neighborhood is pretty traditional, and we fit right in. We do not have a shiny storefront or big neon signs. Most of our work is done through talking to people and making sure the drivers are ready on time. There is always a lot of paperwork with vehicle permits and insurance, so the desk is usually buried under folders. We know most of the routes around the state because we have been sending cars out for years. Sometimes a car breaks down or a driver gets stuck in traffic, and we have to scramble to fix things, but that is the nature of the travel business. We do not use any fancy apps to manage things; a simple diary and a phone are usually enough for us. It is a busy life, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants a car at the same time. We just do our best to make sure everyone gets where they need to go.
