Lagoon Restaurant

Our restaurant is located in the Tanker Villa Building at Kemps Corner. We are at shop number 20/62 on August Kranti Marg. It is a famous part of Mumbai, right next to the Gowalia Tank Maidan. A lot of people walk their dogs or go for runs in the maidan, and we see them passing by our window all the time. Being in Mumbai means space is always tight, but we make it work in our small shop. The building is old and has a lot of character, which we like. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure we have enough supplies for the day. The traffic at Kemps Corner is something else, you can hear the horns honking from morning until late at night. It is just the sound of the city to us now. We do not have any big advertisements or a PR team. We are just a regular place where you can get a meal. The staff has been here for a long time and we all know how to work in the small kitchen together. It gets humid in the monsoon, and the rain really hits the windows hard, but we just keep the doors open for anyone looking to get out of the wet. It is a simple life running a spot in this part of town. We are just happy to be a part of the neighborhood and serve whoever walks in.
