Our place is up on the 4th floor of Nagri Building, which is building number 228 in Mumbai Central. It’s not a street-level shop, so you have to know where you’re going to find us. Being in this part of town means there is always something happening outside. You hear the trains and the traffic all day long. Up here on the fourth floor, it’s a little bit away from the main rush, but we stay busy enough. We mostly deal with bigger suitcases and travel gear. We have rows of them lined up against the walls. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when we have a lot of stock, but we manage. People come up here specifically when they need a heavy-duty bag for a move or a big overseas trip. Since we aren't downstairs, we don't get many random people just walking in to look around. Usually, it’s someone who was told about us or has been coming here for years. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time checking locks and handles to make sure everything is okay before it goes out. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have fancy lights or big displays, just stacks of bags and a desk where we do our paperwork. It’s a honest day’s work in the middle of a very busy city.
