L & T - Tractor Engineers Ltd

Our office for L & T - Tractor Engineers Ltd is at A-12 in the Happy Homes Housing Society, located in Jaideep Nagar, Mumbai. It’s a bit unusual to have an engineering office in a housing society, but it works for us. It’s in the 400042 area, so we are tucked away from the main madness of South Mumbai. The atmosphere is a bit more relaxed because of the residential surroundings. We spend our days dealing with tractor parts and engineering schedules. It’s not a massive factory floor here; it’s where we do the planning and the paperwork. The space is a bit small, and we’ve had to get creative with how we store all our technical manuals. We know our neighbors well, and they’re used to seeing us coming in and out at odd hours. Mumbai is always humid, so the office can feel a bit stuffy when the power fluctuates. We just focus on the task at hand. There's no marketing team here or anyone trying to sell you something. We’re just the people who make sure the tractor engineering side of the business stays on track. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the desk clutter under control, though we usually fail at that. It’s just a normal, hardworking office in a quiet part of the city. We often have to move some boxes just to find a spare chair for guests.
