Kusum Engineering Works

Kusum Engineering Works is located in Paras Compound, right on SV Road in Goregaon West. If you know Goregaon, you know how busy SV Road can get. The compound is an old-school industrial spot. It’s not fancy at all. We have our workshop there, and it’s full of machines and tools. There’s usually the sound of metal and engines going in the background. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time. People around here know us as the place that just gets things done. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. Our clothes usually have a bit of grease or dust on them because we’re actually working. That’s just the way it is at Kusum Engineering Works. We aren't trying to look like a high-tech lab. We’re a workshop. The traffic on SV Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we’re used to it by now. We like being in Goregaon West because it feels like a real community of makers and fixers. We don't have any big speeches about our values. We just fix what’s broken and build what’s needed. It’s simple work, and we like it that way. Paras Compound has a lot of history, and we’re glad to be a small part of it. We take the work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. It's just engineering, after all, and we enjoy the process.
