Kuremal Mohanlal Kulfiwale

We are located on Dr Babasaheb Jaykar Marg, specifically in Kucha Pati Ram within Sita Ram Bazar. This is an old part of the city, and the lanes are narrow and crowded. You have to walk through the bazaar to find us. We have been in this spot for a very long time, passing the work down through the family. The shop is small and has that old feeling to it. We don't have air conditioning or modern furniture. It is mostly just the large containers we use for our work and a place for people to stand. It gets very busy, especially in the evenings when the bazaar is full of shoppers. We don't do any marketing. People find us because they have been coming here for years, or their parents brought them when they were kids. The air is always thick with the smells of the market. We spend our days preparing everything by hand. It is hard work and the hours are long, but it is what we know how to do. We don't try to make things look perfect. The walls could use some paint, and the floor is worn down from all the feet walking over it. We just focus on the kulfi and keeping the containers cold. It’s a simple way of life in a very old part of town, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep the tradition going.
