Mangesh Apartment is where our office is located. We are right by the Gokul Hotel in Borivali West, which is a very busy part of the city. Most of our day is spent sitting behind a desk, answering the phone, and looking at travel schedules. There is always a lot of noise from the street outside, with buses and rickshaws going past. We keep some old maps and travel brochures on the counter for people to flip through while they wait. It’s not a fancy place with modern decor; it’s just a functional office where we handle bookings. Sometimes the internet is slow and it makes things a bit frustrating, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. People from the neighborhood often stop in to ask about train tickets or car rentals. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan stays on all day. Dealing with cancellations and changes is part of the job, and it can get hectic. We don't have any big corporate slogans. We just try to keep track of everyone’s trips and make sure the drivers know where they are going. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. Borivali is a good place to be because there is always someone looking to go somewhere new.
