Krishna Ice Cream

Krishna Ice Cream is tucked away in Hira Compound on R C Marg in Chembur East. If you’re familiar with this part of Chembur, you know it’s a mix of residential and small industrial spots. We’ve been operating out of this compound for some time now. It’s not a big place, but it works for what we do. We spend most of our hours managing the inventory and making sure the freezers are at the right setting. Usually, it’s just a few of us here handling everything. We get visits from people in the neighborhood and some regular delivery drivers. The atmosphere in Hira Compound is pretty low-key. We don't have big signs or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or have heard about us from a neighbor. Sometimes the rainy season makes the compound a bit muddy, which is a pain, but we deal with it. We just try to keep things simple. We have our routine of checking the stock levels and cleaning the equipment. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the product and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. Chembur East is a busy area, but once you step into the compound, things feel a bit more quiet. We like it that way. It lets us get our work done without too much distraction.
